Join me as we delve into this transformative meditation session that will guide you towards a greater sense of self-love and inner peace. Let’s take a moment to slow down, breathe deeply, and embrace the beauty of loving kindness within ourselves.
– Acknowledging the Importance of Self-Love and Kindness
Welcome to this guided meditation for loving kindness. When we don’t allow the natural love for ourselves to be expressed, love does not reveal its beauty. Throughout the day, it’s important to take a moment to acknowledge the importance of self-love and kindness. Begin by finding a comfortable meditation position either sitting on the ground with a straight spine, in a chair with good posture, or lying down. Let’s start by taking the first action in self-love – focusing on our breath.
Our ability to breathe at will in different ways is a powerful tool for self-love. Take five full deep breaths with me, holding it at the top before exhaling gently. Deep breathing has been proven to change our bodies and minds for the better, increasing oxygen supply and stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system. As you breathe, allow yourself to relax and let go of any tension or worry, embracing a sense of calm and self-love.
– Harnessing the Power of Deep Breathing for Self-Love
Welcome to this meditation for loving kindness. When we don’t allow the natural love for ourselves to be expressed, love does not reveal its beauty very often throughout the day. So begin by making sure you’re in a meditation position, either sitting on the ground with a straight spine or in a chair keeping your posture good. If you’d rather lie down, you can do that too. Let’s take the very first action in self-love right now – your ability to breathe at will in all different kinds of ways. Your breath has literally been there your entire life, changing as needed to the demand of exciting circumstances and flowing effortlessly when we are resting. Taking multiple full and deep breaths every day is proven to change our bodies and minds for the better.
So, take in five full deep breaths with me, holding it for a moment at the top and naturally exhaling, never pushing out your breath all the way. Inhale a nice big breath, expanding your belly and lungs, hold it and exhale gently with relief. Inhale fresh oxygen that will be supplied to your bloodstream, holding it to soak it in and exhaling without any effort. Inhale, feeling rejuvenated and invigorated by this breathing, hold it and exhale easily. Inhale, noticing how beautifully breathing comes naturally for you, pause to soak it in and exhale any tension or worry. Finally, inhale fully as an act of self-love, pausing to feel this love and exhale into complete relaxation. Allow your breath to flow at a pace without any effort from you now. By doing this, you are proving you are capable of self-love. Deep breathing increases the supply of oxygen to your brain and stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, sometimes referred to as the rest and digest system.
– Cultivating Relaxation and Mindfulness for Self-Love and Wellbeing
Welcome to this meditation for loving kindness. When we don’t allow the natural love for ourselves to be expressed, love does not reveal its beauty very often throughout the day. So begin by making sure you’re in a meditation position, either sitting on the ground with a straight spine or in a chair with good posture, or even lying down. Let’s take the very first action in self-love right now by focusing on our breath.
Take in five full, deep breaths with me. Hold each breath for a moment at the top and exhale gently. Inhale fresh oxygen that will be supplied to your bloodstream, hold it to soak it in, and exhale without any effort. By doing this, you are proving that you are capable of self-love. Deep breathing increases the supply of oxygen to your brain and stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, also known as the rest and digest system. Now, let’s honor ourselves by relaxing the mind even further, by noticing and letting go of our thoughts, and focusing on the sounds around us to bring about a sense of calm and relaxation.
